Gotion purchases 270 acres of land for Michigan battery plant

Gotion Inc. is moving forward with its plan to build a $2.36 billion electric vehicle battery parts plant near Big Rapids.

The company announced Tuesday, Aug. 1 it purchased 270 acres of land in Green Charter Township, a key step for the development of the facility.
